Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a collaborative process between therapist and client. Individual sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in length, and frequency of these sessions depends upon the necessary course of treatment, the level of need, and the progress that an individual is making. Both continuity and consistency are extremely important to the effectiveness of the therapeutic process. As clients make progress and reach identified goals, frequency of sessions will decrease and/or move towards closure depending on the overall course of treatment. Please see the "approach" section of this website for more information.
